Lucky Penny’s design for Kathleen & Andrew was a thoughtful blend of clean modernity and tactile warmth. The design vision balanced timeless simplicity with understated elegance. It emphasized the harmony of a neutral palette & organic textures. For florals, our main theme was elegant, soft, textural, and minimalist. The focus colors were be white, cream, blush, & greenery, layered with pinks, dusty rose, and peach.
A classic, elegant wedding meets mountain warmth.
Kathleen wanted a small bouquet with a traditional round shape & a hint of whimsy.
Their pup got a floral collar, the bridesmaids carried petite bouquets, and the ceremony had two large, slightly elevated compotes at the end of the aisle. The compotes were reused by the DJ table in the reception area.
Reception
The highlight of the reception was the ample amount of real greenery hanging atop disco balls above the dance floor. It added elegance and an outdoor feel to the tent and softened up the disco balls. For the rest of the tent, we did faux greenery along the beams.
Each table had ikebana arrangements, and the DJ booth had reused compotes from the ceremony.
